My Review of Death Of Internet Marketing Report…
G’ Day {fnTagMarketers}
I know I should have posted this a couple of days ago but I have been volunteering my time to rebuild our church this week and I just haven’t had to time but do the essentials on my business.
Ok a subscriber asked me, what I thought of The Death of Internet Marketing report… if you haven’t heard about it (I highly doubt it) or gotten it yourself then get it for free at the link above.
Lets just skip right past the title of the book because honestly we both know that it was used to create some buzz and controversy. We all know that internet marketing isn’t going anywhere soon but yes it is changing, I would say it is ALIVE and growing (for proof check out Kevin Lynch’s testimonial at Automatic Niche Profits).
I’ve personally met Mike Filsaime at a conference here in Sydney Australia… I’ve even got a photo with him and I on the right there… >>>
Anyway he is a marketer that I highly respect but I do not agree with everything he does or says, but nobody can doubt that he is a successful internet marketer and someone you can learn a lot from and I have learnt a lot.
But specifically to the report… what did I think and what did I learn?
Mike was honest right off the bat… he says exactly why he wrote the report and why he is marketing it the way it is (to build a giant double optin list).
Basically there is not terribly much to say other than with every single point I agreed on everything he said. He dissected the problem quite well when it came to the launches that are happening at the moment and why they are losing their effectiveness.
I also totally agree with what he says about Internet Marketers lacking vision. That is one thing I have struggled with in the past and I am now constantly reviewing my vision.
His reasons why we don’t ‘sail to Hawaii’ is also spot on… so many people are constantly changing their focus that they will never succeed at anything. You have to be focused and persistent to achieve your goals.
When he wrote about… David and Goliath- Efficiency vs. Effectives… spot on again… how many of us are being so lazy and taking email marketing for granted when we could be making ten times more if we would just test and track our promotions.
I also agree with everything he says about ‘the long tail’ niche marketing and that is why I focus in this area with my private label products at Automatic Niche Profits.
But there were three things that really struck me and that I will be modify my business accordingly to include these three things in the future.
- Lifeline Services – these services are essential and the more you are ‘into’ these markets the more secure your income will become. These are the ‘definitely gotta pay that’ type bills.
- Skulls Strategy – where you choose a select group of internet marketers and only work within that group to co-promote each others products and services. A special.. special joint venture if you like. Now I have created these type of relationships with a few marketers but not to the potential they could be.
- Mr X Once A Month JV Solution – Absolute GENIUS if I do say so myself.
He then concludes with some very important legal issues… which you must take note of.
So in conclusion this is a very solid report with great information. It is a report I would have happily paid for.
If you don’t have it then read it now at The Death Of Internet Marketing.
All the best to your continued and prosperous success.
Sincerely,
Australia
