Start Thinking Of Your Launch Right Now….

G’ Day Marketers,

I have a disease (two actually) It’s a terrible malady that is restricting my business immensely.

I have “MakeLotsaProductsotisis” AND “ForgetToMarketWell”
Ever heard of it? I hadn’t either till I just made it up 30 seconds ago ;-).

Basically it works like this. I have a ton of fantastic ideas which I know will help people while making me money. I have the contact details of people I can hire to get them created for me which doesn’t cost much at all.

As it’s getting created what I SHOULD be doing is already creating a marketing campain for it; especially a plan to launch it. But what I do is create MORE products… that’s very bad.

I’ve been slapping myself on the wrist constantly for not focusing on one product at a time and especially on thinking of how I’m going to promote it right at the start.

So to help you NOT make the same mistakes that I am making, simply follow these steps FIRST.

1. Before you start creating a product discover your target market and more importantly how are you going to reach them.

2. Find out exactly what that target market wants (not necessarily needs).

3. Create a product to fill that want.

4. While it is being created or while you are creating it personally. Find people and plan strategies to help you promote it. For example start talking to JV partners saying I am creating “X” I know it’s right up your alley and I would like to create a special JV with you (obviously you wouldn’t word it this way). Or start creating a free viral list building page bascially start planning and applying the launch as soon as possible.
5. When the product is almost ready (always give your writers and coders a FIRM deadline) you can be more specific with you JV partners and launch times so you can prepare as much as possible. You should also have your sales page and advertisments for affiliates and JV partners written way before launch day.

When you create an organized launch you cannot believe the results you can get.

Do what I say and not as I do. Focus and prepare for the launch ;-).
